Clearly these changes were needed for subsystems of which I have little or no knowledge, so if the apropriate maintainer does that for me, excellent and kudos to them for all the time that takes. Still, I wouldn't mind a CC: or other notification. Of course, I would object of other people would make fundamental changes to the driver without asking me. I am the maintainer of PWC, after all. Well, if that happens I will *probably* abandon the 2.4 driver; more or less what I did with the 2.2 series. But the driver is complete enough.
