I am trying to use the usbserial driver with a wireless modem. The driver
tetects the device fine and I can setup ppp over the ttys in /dev/usb/tts
directory. But my only issue is the throughput I get using the driver is
much lower than expected. When the wireless is connected to windows
machine, I can get a TCP throughput of 1.5Mbps and above. But on the
usbserial driver, it is only 230kbps.
I am running kernel 2.4.16, 128Mb RAM Pentium 1GHz
I would appreciate it if somebody could answer the question.
