What sort of device? Is it a HID device or a full video device? I've done a driver (in userspace) that used the EZUSB chip as a USB to I2C interface, with a Matrox Orbital display. It ran a hacked version of LCDproc - worked quite well, but it was a bit ugly. That is a long way from a HID display (which I know of being worked on, but probably can't pass on details). It is even further from a full video display.
