I have a problem with Genelink GL620USB-A cable when I connect my laptop (Mandrake Linux 8.2 - kernel 2.4.18-6mdk) with my pc desktop (WinME or WinXP). If I start with WinME on desktop and Linux on laptop, connection is not possible (Host unknow if I ping from a pc to another); if I start WinME on laptop instead, reboot and load linux, without turn off or reboot pc desktop, connection is OK.
I think that WinME inizialize the connection or inizialize the USB cable, or what? Can anyone fix this problem?
