Hi everybody,

i tried to get some help on the users list, i tried kernel 2.5.25,
i tried kernel 2.4.18, i applied a patch that somebody on this
list made me aware of:

/usr/src/linux/drivers/usb/storage/unusual_devs.h:

UNUSUAL_DEV(  0x0aec, 0x5010, 0x0100, 0x0100,
                "Hama",
                "MultiSlot CF/SM/SD/MMC/MS USB",
                US_SC_SCSI, US_PR_CB, NULL,
                US_FL_FIX_INQUIRY ),

Now at least i can see the device in /proc/scsi/sg/devices.

But i wonder about some warnings in /var/log/messages:
usb-storage: queuecommand() called
usb-storage: *** thread awakened.
usb-storage: Bad LUN (0/1)
usb-storage: *** thread sleeping.
usb-storage: queuecommand() called
usb-storage: *** thread awakened.
usb-storage: Bad target number (1/0)
usb-storage: *** thread sleeping.
usb-storage: queuecommand() called
usb-storage: *** thread awakened.
usb-storage: Bad target number (2/0)
usb-storage: *** thread sleeping.
usb-storage: queuecommand() called
usb-storage: *** thread awakened.
usb-storage: Bad target number (3/0)
... (up to 7/0)...

Is that an error?

At the end of this mail you can see:
/proc/scsi/sg/devices
/proc/bus/usb/devices
hwinfo --usb
/var/log/messages (parts of it)
/proc/partitions

I don't know how to access that device at the moment. I also
have an Adaptec SCSI card with a CD-RW attached to it.

Has anybody got some help for me?

What other infos could be useful?

Best regards,
Torsten.
