I just manually modprobed usb-ohci and it worked (its in my
/etc/modules.conf though, odd) Now the bugger doesn't want to unmount
itself. Says device is busy, even though nothing is using it. Is there a
way to make sure that nothing is trying to access it?

|
| You can control whether it's sdX1 or sdX4 or just sdX with fdisk or
| cfdisk etc., but you can't control the 'X' part (at least not just
| with in-kernel naming; there are some dev-naming helpers out there).
| That assignment is dynamic, based on other SCSI(-like) devices on

|
| | Also, usbview doesn't show any devices, yet it detects my controller. Is
| | this odd?
|
| What's in /proc/bus/usb/devices ?

| | |
| | | It could be either one,
| | | whichever one contains/provides the needed information.
| | |
| | | On my system it would be /var/log/kern.log, but that's just
| | | my system's config.
