I have the following setup.

computer-1
Abit KT7 raid Motherboard, Suse 8.0

computer-2
MSI-6501 Motherboard, RH-7.3

and a
KVM Switch...with USB connectors to share mouse and keyboard.

I need to do the following..
share the USB Keyboard and USB mouse and monitor between these 2 computers..

Here is what I have tried to do sofar.
Tried to install SUSE on Comp-1 with USB mouse and USB keyboard the YAST-2
installation screen at the first step of installation, didnot respond to
mouse and keyboard atall.....
now...
I go and buy a new PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard..
this time installation of Suse on comp-1 works just fine..

USB mouse and keyboard were detected by redhat during the installation... on
comp-2

Now
I try to use the KVM switch, the USB mouse and USB keyboard work just fine
with RH-7.3(computer-2)
but as expected the USB(mouse/keyboard) dont work with Suse.

the dmesg results are as follows
