After upgrading from clean 2.5.38 to version from Greg's BitKeeper repository I havn't seen kernel hangs any more. Drive works without problems. There are several failed requests in log which was correctly aborted and retried. Are there any plans to backport usb-storage changes to kernel 2.4?
