The odds are pretty good.   This is one of the major enhancements on the
2.5 list.

First, I need to get halt clearing fixed, tho.  I want to do a final
shakeout of the state machine before I switch to the sg primitives.  That
should be pretty much the last thing I need to see before we'll work on the
switch.
