All,
I have one of the USB/IDE bridge controller connected to an IBM IDE HD. When using 2.4.19, a USB 1.1 controller and the usb-uhci drivers; during a massive copy of say 4 gigs to the drive I will see SCSI error 7000 on some sectors and the machine gets chugged up. The errors repeat for a bit then go away and eventually the copy completes. The files appear to be in fine. I know the HD is fine because I can take the same drive and controller combination on a USB 2.0 machine with ehci drivers and never see an error. Any thoughts on this or what I can do to help debug. It seems like the HDC can't handle all of this load and reports the SCSI errors at times. With small copies, I never see any problems on USB 1.1 or 2.0 Please respond to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks, Joe ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel
