First of all the keyboard works and the mouse doesn't but I keep seeing messages like:

drivers/usb/host/ohci-q.c: 02:00.0 bad entry b7b7e7e1

where the last 8 digits vary from boot to boot.
That's an OHCI-only problem, I was going to look at it
today ... I should have enough clues to find and fix this,
but I'm not sure I can reproduce it to test. Can you help
test patches?

other problem is that if I unplus the keyboard and mouse to try and get them to re-recognize and see if that will let my mouse work but then the system doesn't recognize either the keybord or the mouse and I have to reboot the system with the reboot button.
This seems to be a problem in the disconnect processing
that's not caused by OHCI; I've seen it with the other
controller drivers too.

The workaround I found was to use a hub with enough ports
that I don't have to re-use a port ... unplug from one,
treat it as if it were dead until the next reboot. I'm
not sure who's looking at this. (Driverfs related?)
