Host controllers usually don't have problems sending zero lengthAlso, shouldn't we just complete the frame with a zero-lenght packet or is this a problem with some hci's
packets, and the URB_ZERO_PACKET flag (2.5 name) automatically
handles sending one when it's needed. They shouldn't! It's
device controllers that tend to have problems processing such
packets, if anything.
Another tactic is just to make sure the packet length is always
odd, regardless of how many USB packets get sent. Simpler logic.
