sorry, I meant the term 'hack' in its most positive sense.  indeed, the
changes required would not be appropriate in POSE (and the cPad LCD
controller can't do the Palm greyscales anyway)

I have seen the cPad only on Toshiba Satellite laptops, specifically some
of the 510x range (5100 in UK/Europe, 5105 in US).
