In fact, what kind of device is it? And does it show up when using the ehci driver with this device at full speed? (ehci hub --> usb2 hub --> usb1 hub --> disk).
It'd be interesting to know which packet (just one,Maybe it's host hardware, not the host software per se, that drops packets?
