Please take a look at Documentation/devices.txt for a list of the
experimental numbers.
If you want to get your driver into the kernel tree, and use the USB
major number, you need to provide the following to me (and the list):
- how many minor numbers you need.
- a copy of a 2.5 version of the driver ready to go into the
kernel tree.
- (optional) a copy of a 2.4 version of the driver.
