Hi,
With any 2.5.xx kernel i tried, my mac with PCI USB card crashes
completely while loading the OHCI HCD. Normally I have USB built into the
kernel since I use a USB keyboard & mouse, so booting stops and the
computer doesn't respond to anything. The same happens with USB built as
modules, after booing, when I insert the ohci hcd module. The last thing I
see is the line identifying the USB controller chip, which is on 2.4.20:
usb-ohci.c: usb-00:0f.0, Lucent Microelectronics USS-312 USB Controller
On 2.5 it's the same but some words are truncated, probably because of
framebuffer problems.
How do I debug this problem? I tried to #define CONFIG_USB_DEBUG and
OHCI_VERBOSE_DEBUG in ohci-hcd.c but that didn't give me any more output.
