You are welcome. Though strictly speaking it's not an update. It's newly coded. I believe I got the disconnecting much cleaner this time. I've not included your suggestion about setting to a "zero" configuration this time, because this means stopping khubd to prevent a race with hubs. Do you have an idea, how to stop khubd cleanly? Nevertheless it should have all features I intended it to have. Resetting is still not clean, however. IMHO it needs a new API, as the current API has no way to pass the interface that should _not_ be disconnected. Leaving it to the calling driver is IMHO unclean, as a driver should concern itself only with its own interface. > I'll have to wait before trying it though. I am still suffering from an odd shared lib failure. It seems that it's not Greg smoking strange patches, but Linus. I've regressed to 2.5.56 but it still fails.
