At http://www.linux-usb.org the link "Mailing Lists" brings you to a page
where at the end it states:

> Another method of discussion is an IRC channel. This is #usb and is located
> on openprojects.net systems (for example irc.linpeople.org).

Now, openprojects.net is nearly dead, irc.linpeople.org is not part of the
freenode.net network. So this text should be changed.

So I made a channel #linux-usb there and protected the channel by ChanServ. If
anyone of the developers is interested for op-access, let me know. Or just
join:

Australia:
 brin.freenode.net
 simak.freenode.net
Asia:
 zheng.freenode.net
Europe:
 brunner.freenode.net
 gerrold.freenode.net (IPv6 only)
 vinge.freenode.net
 gibson.freenode.net
 saberhagen.freenode.net
 herbert.freenode.net
 sterling.freenode.net
 calvino.freenode.net (IPv4/IPv6)
 adams.freenode.net
 capek.freenode.net

or simply irc.freenode.net
