I'm developing a device driver for an external USB-connected GPIB (IEEE488) interface. Many years' experience with device driver development, but new to Linux.
You mean USB Test and Measurement Class (TMC) support? Or a proprietary version of such a thing?
Either way, this would be a good place for that.
