Ick, my bad. It's kinda hard to graft a PCI card onto my laptop :]
I'll need to do wome work to gte 2.5.70-mmX onto the stationary, but
I'll have a whack at it today.

And that on 2.4 the lod actually makes thing go gradually slower
untill the machine is unusable, whereas on 2.5 I see the numbers go
up, top shows time as being eaten as "I/O Wait" and has little direct
ill effect.
