I suggest running it through ksymoops. However, looking at the fact that it's 
in fs/buffer.c, I'm guessing that it's 1) hardware flakiness (fs/buffer.c 
should be fairly well tested, but of course there's a first to everything), 
and 2) not a USB bug >:).

Post it to LKML, and memtest86 your machine overnight.
