Hi, I'm trying to port control code for a HID card reader from windows code to Linux (SuSE 8.2 - 2.4.20). I can open/close and get information about the device OK but I'm having trouble sending and receiving data to the device. With windows I just wrote an unsigned char array to the file/device with the report id as the first element of the array and the length of the array being the max report size of the device. Could someone please point me to or post an example of how to write custom commands to a HID device please.
