All,
I just bought a King Usb 512MB flash drive. The device works fine with Linux kernel 2.4.21 or linux 2.4.22-pre7, but linux refuses to write past 256MB onthe device. The device in fine in Windoze, but fails with the following error in Linux: WARNING: USB Mass Storage data integrity not assured USB Mass Storage device found at 3 USB Mass Storage support registered. Attached scsi removable disk sda at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 SCSI device sda: 1024000 512-byte hdwr sectors (524 MB) sda: Write Protect is off sda: sda1 sda2 sda3 sda4 SCSI device sda: 1024000 512-byte hdwr sectors (524 MB) sda: Write Protect is off sda: sda1 SCSI device sda: 1024000 512-byte hdwr sectors (524 MB) sda: Write Protect is off sda: sda1 usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 2, frame# 1233 scsi0: ERROR on channel 0, id 0, lun 0, CDB: Read (10) 00 00 08 00 3d 00 00 02 00 Current sd08:01: sense key Medium Error Additional sense indicates Unrecovered read error I/O error: dev 08:01, sector 524290 EXT2-fs error (device sd(8,1)): read_block_bitmap: Cannot read block bitmap - block_group = 32, block_bitmap = 262145 Any suggestions? I have the full usb-storage debug ouput, The failure stems from an EPIPE error in the bulk transfer.
