Hey there, Well, my kernel told me to email this list... so I am (;
I recently got an SB Extigy audio device. It's an external USB audio thinggie. When I boot up (or power it on) I get this long message, at the end of which I'm told to contact the list. Oh, I can't get the Extigy to work right, either (; I'm asking around on the ALSA lists but since you guys were mentioned by name I thought I'd try you too. Here's the output; this is on 2.6.0-test4 on a debian box. usbaudio: device 3 audiocontrol interface 0 has 1 input and 2 output AudioStreaming interfaces usbaudio: valid input sample rate 8000 usbaudio: valid input sample rate 48000 usbaudio: valid input sample rate 32000 usbaudio: valid input sample rate 24000 usbaudio: valid input sample rate 16000 usbaudio: device 3 interface 2 altsetting 1: format 0x80000010 sratelo 8000 sratehi 48000 attributes 0x00 usbaudio: valid output sample rate 48000 usbaudio: device 3 interface 1 altsetting 1: format 0x80000010 sratelo 48000 sratehi 48000 attributes 0x00 usbaudio: registered dsp 14,3 usbaudio: device 3 interface 3 altsetting 1 format not supported usbaudio: device 3 interface 3 altsetting 2 format not supported usbaudio: constructing mixer for Terminal 13 type 0x0101 usbaudio: selector unit 11: ignoring channel 1 usbaudio: selector unit 11: ignoring channel 2 usbaudio: feature unit 6: OSS mixer interface does not support more than 2 channels usbaudio: mixer path revisits unit 7 usbaudio: feature unit 8 source has no channels usbaudio: mixer path revisits unit 9 usbaudio: feature unit 10 source has no channels usbaudio: selector unit 11: input pins with varying channel numbers usbaudio: feature unit 12 source has no channels usbaudio: registered mixer 14,0 usbaudio: constructing mixer for Terminal 19 type 0x0301 usbaudio: feature unit 6: OSS mixer interface does not support more than 2 channels usbaudio: warning: found 2 of 6 logical channels. usbaudio: no idea what's going on..., contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] net usbaudio: registered mixer 14,16 -Yaron -- ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel
