The HID driver doesn't allow you to write directly to the device instead you have to build a report using ioctl calls, which is made up of fields and usages. Unfortunately there is a bug in the HID driver that doesn't allow you to set reports with a count > 1.

I have seen a few references to this in the archives but no good example of how to do it. The hid write command does not seem to be implemented in the driver. Will the write command be implemented in the near future? ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel
