Looks to me like you're just not bringing up USB in
your init scripts.  Like maybe you're trying to probe
"usb-uhci" or "uhci" instead of "uhci-hcd.  And you'll
want to make sure you configure "usbnet", with the
CDC Ethernet support.  Other users have reported that
it works OK with the SB4100 -- presumably the 4200 is
similar.  (But I suspect some cable modems will want
that first patch in the earlier email.)
