And the rebuild didn't do a thing, cups simply ate itelf on the reboot. I had 4 printers defined, to two actual printers. They all dissappeared on the reboot, and several rebuilds and re-installs of cups-1.1.20rc6 and gimp-print-4.2.6pre3 have come to naught.
