Hi,

I am developing a new USB device, and I am using Linux to help debug the USB
portion of the functionality. Of course, I'm having my share of
difficulties, and was wondering if:

-this is the correct list to discuss my problems with the Linux side
-there was anyone else out there trying or has tried the same thing that I
could commiserate with, ask advice, etc.

I am adding another debug level on my machine for debugging the initial
control channel setup. It prints out all urbs as they are enqueued, and the
information that the USB host receives back. Obviously under normal
circumstances this would be quite useless, as there would be enough kernel
messages to choke a goat. However, it is quite useful when trying to debug
an interface issue. Is this feature something that should be added to the
main line of code? An alternative strategy would be to add a
device_development compile switch to keep unnecessary conditionals out of
most people's drivers.

Thanks for listening!

Ethan.
