Sorry for crossposting but I haven't got any answers. I have bought a computer chassie equipped with the above module. I've searched the archive and found that there is already a driver beeing developed for this. Unfortunatly I can't get in touch with the author, Henry Culver, and therefore I wonder if there is anybody else with this module that maybe has a driver for it.
I've begun myself writing a driver but it seems a little dumb to reinvent the wheel. I'm aware of driver programming but I haven't that much experience using USB devices. The main issue I haven't got straighten out yet is the difference between BULK / INTERRUPT urb's. Can anyone please give me a hint on what kind of message flow to expect when using interrupt endpoints. I have read some of the source in the driver/usb directory but as I said - I'm not that familiar with USB. What would you propose to start with? I've gone thru the usb-skeleton.c but I haven't got anything working yet. My first attempt was to get a FILL_INT followed by a urb_submit to work but I only get -19 as result. I'll be glad to submit more info if anyone would like to help me getting started. /Mel ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
