Hi all,

00:10.0 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. UHCI USB (rev 80)
00:10.1 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. UHCI USB (rev 80)
00:10.2 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. UHCI USB (rev 80)
00:10.3 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc.: Unknown device 3104 (rev 82)

I've got a USB 2.0 controller from VIA as you see above.

When I only load uhci or usb-uci only the internal hub is detected but not the external hardware. The USB-power is switched _off_. Only if I load the ehci driver the power is switched on and the devices enumerate. Then, I can remove the ehci-hcd without a power loss.

/Bernd
