I have search all list and tried to remove the usbnet module and insert usbserial. The proble is that I can't fins any working devices, I need to open a device and read/write data to the other host. This will not work at all, sorry. Just use the usbnet driver.
Actual, it DOES work (untill a hernel krash...)
Um, as I said, it will not work. And your kernel crashes prove it :)
Please use the proper driver for this device.

The proper driver (usbnet) is not what I want. I need to avoid TCP/IP between two Linux-servers (security reasons).
Before I start digging into the differenses between the usbserial and the usbnet drivers and create my own (usbhost2hostserial???) I wanted to test and ask around for solutions.
I will test usbserial one more time with the 2.6.x kernel and then it's time to make my own driver. Any one interested ?
