Being "compliant" sounds like it implies USB-IF conformance testing.


If that's what TI wants, it should consider funding and supporting
that work -- on an ongoing basis, or maybe even just for some specific
point release.

Failing that "formal" testing, you might do your own testing to see
if you notice any significant gaps with a 2.6.3 based system.

Also, current Linux distros tend to ship with full USB support; you
can get one to see how they set up USB.  There's some variety in how
the userspace support works; basically it requires hotplug plus init
scripts.
