Hello, I'm trying to get my microtek slimscan C6 USB scanner working under YellowDog Linux 3.0.1 (2.4.22-2g Kernel) running on an eMac. I've been talking with the SANE guys and they think the problem is with the linux usb, which is why I am contacting this list.
Upon boot up without the scanner plugged in, the messages files contains this (w.r.t USB): Mar 11 16:51:32 localhost kernel: usb.c: registered new driver usbdevfs Mar 11 16:51:32 localhost kernel: usb.c: registered new driver hub Mar 11 16:51:32 localhost kernel: host/usb-ohci.c: USB OHCI at membase 0xcb05f000, IRQ 27 Mar 11 16:51:32 localhost kernel: host/usb-ohci.c: usb-10:18.0, Apple Computer Inc. If anyone has any ideas on this, I would appreciate any info. I'm fairly new to linux.
