I have run hotplug (the 2002_08_26-based SuSE version) in debug mode,
find attached the gzipped log excerpt - this one hung.

For some reason, my configuration (see other mail) appears to work for
2.6 coldplug but not 2.6 hotplug and doesn't work for 2.4 coldplug (2.4
hotplug untested). coldplug = device present at kernel boot-up.
