What do you mean by this?
I wondered about that too... I didn't write it, so probably David did. I just left it in there when I submitted the patch. If you would prefer to take it out, that's fine with me.
It's there in Linus' tree. In fact I submitted the patch that took out that (bogus) comment, but it wasn't in the BK tree that Alan merged from. So this patch just added that comment back.
