Subject: [Bugme-new] [Bug 2752] New: UHCI hangs shortly after S3 suspend

http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2752

Summary: UHCI hangs shortly after S3 suspend
    Kernel Version: 2.6.6-mm4
            Status: NEW
          Severity: high
             Owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
         Submitter: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hardware Environment: i845 + ICH3-M (UHCI)

Steps to reproduce:
plug an USB mouse in
echo 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep
resume and wait

Problem Description:
After S3 suspend, the USB mouse works fine for an arbitrary amount of time
(seconds to minutes). After that, usb 1-2: control timeout on ep0in is issued
and the mouse (as well as both HCDs) stop working. The mouse is still powered
when that happens, but replugging won't power it up anymore.

Here's a log of the event and a trace of cat /proc/bus/usb/devices, which also
hangs. 2.6.5 to 2.6.6-vanilla needed the mouse to be replugged after suspend to
work in X, but otherwise were fine.
