Unfortunately the patch didn't help. I tried it again and sure enough the command locked up.


Were the USB drivers re-written for the 2.6 kernel??? This used to work just fine under the 2.4 kernel.

Your log shows the card reader responding in an illegal fashion, which kills VIA controllers. That would explain why you have to reboot.
