Hello everyone,
I am trying to develop a Wireless USB stack similar to the USB stack. The Wireless USB will be on IEEE 802.15.3.
One confession at this stage. I am not much acquainted with USB programming. However, I more than willing to put the requisite effort.
Okay, now the major problem about my implementation as I see it is that while USB is a polled bus, 802.15.3 follows a TDMA coupled with CSMA/CA as the access mechanism. This tantamounts to ( as Greg suggested in a discussion I had with him outside the list ) the HCD being rewritten, from scratch almost I fear. I would like you people to comment upon any other major areas of concern.
Also, if any of you come across a wireless usb driver for linux written for 802.11 a/b/g, please do send me the link.
Regards, Aseem
