Hi.
Hi back ... your linewrap setting is broken, please
force line ends at the 72-character column or so.
is there a way to provoke interrupts from an OHCI chiip? I need to be able to generate interrupts reliably so that I can work out how to set up the chips interrupt masking / routing.
Enable SOF interrupts: one every millisecond,
as soon as you set that bit in the interrupt enable
register, while the controller is operational
further, the chip has an on-board 32k buffer which the documentation suggests must be used to send data to / from the device (td/eds ?) but it makes little mention of wether the chip can handle DMA or anything else. I suspect it cannot.
Hmm ... dma_alloc_coherent() should use that region,
but making it know about that will probably require
some hacks in your platform's "generic" DMA code.
You'll also need to make the dma mapping code use that
region for bounce buffers.
