Sorry for the long delayed reply, I've been trying a few different
kernel builds to test for different behaviour. Right now I have just a
simple 2.6.6 kernel autoinstalled from the Debian testing build, and I
get the saem '2 out of 1' message although things still work. The sound
is on /dev/dsp1, which I had to symlink to /dev/dsp for general
functionality. Anyway, here is the output of lsusb:
/home/dustin# lsusb

I'm surprised it worked.
Regretfuly, I don't think I have time to look at it properly.
Anyone else wants to?
A useful thing would be to get "lsusb" output, to get descriptors
and endpoints (to figure why 2 out of 1).
