Hi all,
I was wondering if anybody out there is developing the USB controller(Host/data)
for the MPC8270. I was planning to do this, and am looking for some pointers, and code
references if possible. Any code base i could use? Any special things i need to know
before i set out to implement this?
I am told that the MPC USB controller's are suppossed to be designed rather strange.
any one with experience on this could tell me something interesting? Also i was
reading the MPC8270 manual and i came accross a line that says
"Also note that the host controller programming model does not conform to the open
host
controller interface (OHCI) or universal host controller interface (UHCI) standards in
which software drivers are hardware-independent."
Now that is something.
This is my first time with the USB subsystem in Linux, so any small thing you can
guide me on would be greatly appreciated. Your help will be appreciated.
