What makes you think it doesn't work? Please provide a system log or dmesg output, with usb-storage debugging turned on in the configuration. Include everything starting from the point where the device is plugged in. > Are there any plans to add these to the usb-storage driver ? They don't need to be in usb-storage, since they are already handled by the SCSI sr driver. If they don't work it's because sr thinks the device is a CD-ROM drive, not a DVD drive.
