At some point, EHCI seems to have started working on sh64. It appears

Thanks for the update. Not much changed in EHCI, nothing that would
affect that in particular, so my suspicion is that some arch fix
is what did the trick.
On the other hand there are a few low-frequency issues pending,
which I've not had a chance to address yet. So maybe it's just
a case of your current usage not hitting those problems any more
often than anyone else ... either way, it's good that it seems
there's no arch-specific bug!
