Hi Dmitry,

I too am having a problem with my graphire USB tablet on 2.6.7: the mouse cursor blinks rapidly and repeatedly jumps to the upper right corner of the screen when the graphire is plugged in. No such problem exists on the 2.4.20 kernel. The system is a Sony laptop with an ALPS touchpad as Mouse0 and the graphire tablet as Mouse1 (XFree86 4.2.1).

I'd like to move to a 2.6.x kernel; so, I tried to test your mousedev patch to see if that fixed my cursor problem. I downloaded a fresh 2.6.7 tree from kernel.org and tried to apply your patch (using patch program rev. 2.5.4), but that failed due to a "malformed patch" error. Have others had problems applying your 2.6.7 mousedev patch? I'll be happy to test your patch, if I can just get it installed.

###patch -p1 --dry-run --verbose < /usr/src/mousedev267.patch
Hmm... Looks like a unified diff to me...
