This is very interesting.  How did you determine the sequence of packets 
sent by Windows?  Is it always the same, or does it differ depending on 
the speed of the connection?

What version of Linux are you using?  I can send you a patch for one of 
the more recent 2.6 kernels to implement the scheme you described.
