I recently posted a note to the user's mailing list [July 13] regarding
problems with a Philips USB hub on a Peritek graphics board. Since
I did not receive any replies I wanted to followup with an offer for
an interested developer.

I have talked with the management at Peritek and they would be willing
to pay some money to get this working (and provide a loaner board, of
course). Any updates/tweaks/changes made would be contributed to the
Linux USB project for the betterment of all.

Is there anyone with the interest and skills to work on this? If so,
please contact me off-list. Ideally, they would like it working with a
2.4 and 2.6+ kernel, but would be willing to accept 2.6+ only, if
necessary.
