-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello everyone,
Andreas Deresch and I have written a driver for the fingerprint sensor in the Siemens ID USB Mouse (a FingerTIP sensor, also from Siemens). The mouse is cheaply available (ours did cost 15 Euro), and provides a decent grayscale image. The source code is available at http://www.fs.tum.de/~echtler/idmouse-0.1.tbz2 A tool called convert is included - use it as ./convert /dev/usb/idmouse0 > test.pnm. Beta testers would be welcome, in case anyone else has such a mouse. Now, we'd like to know what would be necessary for the driver to be accepted into the kernel tree (provided anyone is interested in that..) Yours, Florian - -- Homo homini lupus. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBB6jV7CzyshGvatgRAu/rAJ4g6BtSzsdSHF45NBPmq8HxlU0pTQCgnAs4 /Vram25ril8KCpQ3EClKg6o= =IrEd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
