That's what I saw too:  if the Linux Ethernet/RNDIS device is plugged in
when the system autosuspends, much weirdness happens.  So ones 
workaround (for developers only!) is to just prevent that ... :)

Well, surely your management can shake loose the cash to have
someone (you?) figure out how to do the power management bits
of RNDIS well enough to make Windows happy.  I poked around a
bit there, but I don't know enough about how Windows drivers do
power management to figure out what it might be expecting.
