Hi guys, I just got myself an USB scanner and plugged it into my machine. Sane detected the thing just fine (canon lide 30) and preview worked just fine. However when I tried the scan proper the scanner made a not so nice sound, sane bailed on me with an I/O-error and dmesg showed me this:

When I try the same thing on my old P3 machine which has a UHCI it works flawlessly, hence my assumption that the OHCI driver borks it up. I'm more than willing to provide any information and or patch my kernel sensless in order to get this working :) Please help, Peter Zijlstra ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink & Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285 _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel
