Subject: [Bugme-new] [Bug 3331] New: USB Modem not recognised since 2.6.8-pre1

http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3331

Summary: USB Modem not recognised since 2.6.8-pre1
Kernel Version: 2.6.8-pre1 and up (to atleast 2.6.9-rc1)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
             Owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
         Submitter: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Distribution: Slackware 8.1 (with lots of upgrades)
Hardware Environment: Intel Corp. 82801AA USB
Problem Description: My USB modem isn't recognized anymore. The logs do show
that "new full speed USB device" is connected but that't is. Kernel 2.6.7 was
the last kernel to recognize my device. Since I really need my modem this is a
bit of a show stopper for me.
